Adventures in Eyeballs

We’ve offered quite a few colorful and unique goods in our Madlandia Trading Company but nothing quite as odd as these Eyeball Earrings. Since starting Madlandia 12 years ago, something really strange has happened. My children have grown up! They grew up and became artists and craftsmen in their own rights. These wonderfully bizarre earrings come from the imagination of my Weird Middle Child, she sees the world through a lens that the rest of us only wish we had.

They are made of polymer clay and “realistic” doll eyes. Once the earring is assembled, pained treatments with dimensional paints and powders are added to give them the look of textured skin! Add a little bit of resin, and you have some pretty realistic watery eyes. Eeeek, they follow you wherever you go and emit just the right amount of creepy.
