Flower Puddles

The Flower Puddles patterns is growing by rounds and rounds! In addition to the Flower Puddles Motif and Granny, I’ve added a Flower Puddles Ripples blanket to the growing collection.

My favorite thing about this design is how different it looks it looks in a solid color versus the rainbow version. The colorful version looks nice and textured but really in accentuates the fan stitching in the rounds, while the solid white version accentuates the long bands of cabling that form the lotus shape.

In making the prototypes, I ended up with two completely different looking blankets from this one pattern! That’s a win for me, and hopefully something you can appreciate as well.

An exciting feature of the pattern is that it can be made as large as you’d like. You can make anything from a baby blanket to a bead spread, the pattern repeats with increases so you can stop wherever you want to. (You may end up with some ruffling at the edges if you go very large, but it can be mitigated by reducing the stitch counts in the final rows. I recommend you only do this if you are confident altering patterns.)

This Flower Puddles & Ripples is now up in my Ravelry shop and can be purchase independently or as part of the Flower Puddles Collection. Enjoy!

I hope someone sees this. I’m on row 38 and a little confused. What am I doing with all those sc ch3 sc spots in between the ch spaces where the 8sc are going in?

I found you. Hi,first ,love your pattern. For some reason the rows (23 to 24 (10)) will not play nicely. Unless I’m doing something wrong.further explanation. I’ve crochet rows 1 thru 23 with out a problem. Then comes repeat . Go back and crochet rows 10 thru 21. (24-35). Simply put row 24 doesn’t fit into row23. I’ve tried plowing thru. Does not work. HELP. Please

Still stuck. Trying to find answers but I think I need your super powers to tell me where I went wrong. Got to row 23 no problem. Tried to repeat rows 10-21 to sub 24-31. I must be missing something. Please help. My baby niece will be born near Christmas and my hope is to have this flower puddle done for brand new baby. Thanks mrbrasen@optonline.net.

Where are these stitches going?!? I’m stuck and there is no picture to describe what this means there are no sc to tie into! Please advise! It would be helpful to have pics for these variations that require knowing where to put stitches
