Description
This large granny square pattern is highly textured and graceful in design. The squares measure approximately 11 inches across so it takes 12 squares (3×4) to make a nice size throw or baby blanket. The pattern includes the edging and a link to a photo tutorial for the PLT join (though you can join them with any type of join that you love).
Granny squares are my favorite thing to make. Each square is a tiny project unto itself and the fact that I can take a bit of yarn with me and crochet a square anywhere is also very appealing.
Make your squares all summer long and assemble them as the weather cools down. There’s nothing like keeping your lap warm with the project you are working on.
